Cairo is the capital of Egypt and the largest city in the Arab world. It is a place of physical contrast, where the ancient buildings share the landscape with tall skyscrapers.
Here you will see the great pyramid of Giza, which is the only existing wonder of the seven wonders of the ancient world. You have to see this for yourself! The Giza pyramid complex, also called the Giza necropolis, is the site on the Giza Plateau that includes the Great Pyramid of Giza, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure, along with their associated pyramid complexes and the Great Sphinx of Giza. All were built during the Fourth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom of Ancient Egypt, between 2600 and 2500 BC.
While in Cairo, you will make your way to the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities. The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, known commonly as the Egyptian Museum or Museum of Cairo, is home to an extensive collection of ancient Egyptian antiquities. It has 120,000 items and contains many important pieces of ancient Egyptian history. It houses the world’s largest collection of Pharaonic antiquities. There you will see a golden mask of Tutankhamun, mummies and many other valuable pieces.
Then you will experience the magic of sailing down the river Nile and enjoy a delicious meal in a restaurant.
At the end of the tour your guide will take you to Cairo Airport, where you will take a 20:00 flight back to Sharm el Sheikh. From there we will drive you to your hotel.
